Reuse records from completed work

Keep the original process and conclusions, find them through tags, and use them in future work.

Keep results in the original task

Before completing work, add the actual result, final materials, and useful checks to its note. Completion keeps the record.

For a download-page release, keep installer links, system requirements, and check results so the original decisions remain understandable.

The checklist belongs to the task; keep the result in the same note.

Tag records worth reusing

Add a topic tag such as ‘Release checks’. Next time, use it to find previous checklists and conclusions.

A record can have both project and topic tags. Tag what you expect to look up again.

After completion, find the same task by topic and read its original note.

Create a new task for the new work

For the next release, copy the still-relevant checks into a new task and verify versions, links, and system requirements.

The old task retains the past facts; the new task records this execution’s results.

Refine repeated records into a short guide

Once patterns recur, summarize the stable method in a readable note while keeping the original tasks as evidence.

Let real reuse show how much organization is helpful.
