Find tasks and their records
Use a remembered title, task path, or tag to return to current or past work.
On this page
Open Search and enter a keyword
Choose Search in the sidebar. Enter words from a task title, path, or tag, then open the matching task and note.
If you don’t remember the full title, try a distinctive word or project tag.
Leave clues in titles and tags
Use an object and a result in titles: ‘Send updated product page draft’ is easier to identify than ‘Send it’.
Keep sources, decisions, and conclusions in the note, and add a topic tag to useful records.
Try another route when nothing matches
Shorten the query or try a project, tag, or parent task name. Check Completed for finished work and Trash for deleted tasks.
The app’s search supports title, path, and tag clues. MCP task search matches titles; it is not full-text search across note bodies.
